Initial Consultation

An initial meeting at your home to walk around the garden and discuss your garden design ideas and plans, budgets and realistic timescales.

Confirmation Letter

To confirm the garden design brief, fees and terms of business.

Garden Survey

A detailed survey of the garden to ensure that the garden design is accurate and can be used as a working plan for a landscaping company to use in construction.

Outline Plan

The production of an outline plan of the garden, drawn to scale, showing the new garden ideas and key landscape design features of the garden. A written report is included with the plan that provides measurements and details of the hard landscape design ideas.

Presentation of the plan

I will present the outline plan to you. This is when any questions can be asked and I tweak and make minor adjustments to ensure you are completely satisfied with the garden design.

Constructing the garden

I can recommend the services of a professional landscape contractor, arrange an on site visit to discuss the proposed garden design and then guide you through the price negotiation and contract process. I can act as liaison between yourself and the contractor and ensure you obtain the best price for the job. I can offer project oversite, which involves attending several on site meetings throughout the landscaping process to ensure that the garden design plans are being adhered to.

Planting plan

The construction is under way and you want to dress your garden with plants, shrubs, trees to give it colour and life! The planting plan is a scale drawing of all the areas that require planting including the location, size and quantity of the plants.
